| Universal Health Care Group, a privately held managed care company, is in immediate need of a full time Sr. Compliance Analyst to promote prevention detection and resolution of instances of conduct that do not conform to federal (mainly CMS) and state law, and federal and state health care program requirements, as well as the ethical and business policies of Company. The Sr. Compliance Analyst will be responsible for investigating complaints from CMS, DOI, DFS and other regulatory agencies, coordinating matters related to compliance, and makes recommendations that may result in corrective action, maintain policies and programs that encourage local reporting of potential problems, and overseeing marketing and sales compliance making sure CMS regulations are being followed and enforced. The Compliance Analyst must have a Bachelor's degree Public Health/ Health Care management or related field and 2 years of Managed Care Experience. The candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with other staff, and regulatory agencies in order to manage projects and tasks, and facilitate communication among various departments. Qualifications: |
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Public Health/ Health Care management or related field Preferred.
- 2 years of Managed Care Experience
- Experienced working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and direction.
Skill Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of government regulations that affect the Company’s state, federal and HIPAA compliance implementation plan.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with other staff, and regulatory agencies in order to manage projects and tasks, and facilitate communication among various departments.
- Must possess the ability to understand and follow statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements, verbal instructions, and written policies and procedures.
- Must have a strong background in investigations and problem solving skills.
- Must have basic personal computer skills necessary to navigate the MS-Windows operating system, Internet, and other Microsoft Software at intermediate level.
