Description: | | The eMASON Desktop and Network Engineer will provide technical support to eMASON's internal staff. In addition, they will provide Level 2 help desk support to eMASON clients as needed for application support. | Duties: | Install and set up Windows PCs in a domain environment.
Install and troubleshoot software as needed.
Provide internal Help Desk Support.
Serve as an administrator on a 2008 Active Directory with Exchange 2010; set up new accounts, access and permissions.
Support eMASON's internal cell phones and air cards for laptops (set up, configuration, connectivity & synchronization issues).
Troubleshoot client PCs for connectivity and setup in support of the Clarifire® application.
Perform daily system backups using Symantec Backup Software.
Monitor and maintain company's anti-virus software.
Be on call 24x7.
| Qualifications: | Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Minimum of two years of work experience as a Network Engineer in a Windows environment
Current MCP certification or agreeable to work towards one
Minimum of one year of experience in maintaining, administering and backing up Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010, SQL 2005/2008
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Desire to develop Project Management skills.
Understanding of TCP/IP, Network Monitoring and Network Sniffers.
Ideal candidate would have some experience and knowledge of the following:
Internet Information Server 6.0/7.0
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.
Visual Basic (VB) and/or .NET programming
