Description: |
Looking for Swim Club and Swim Team Coaches to bring to the table specific abilities and work together as a team. They will need to provide individualized swim training in a group setting for developmental swimmers and/or competitive age group swimmers of the the YMCA. Must be able to provide stroke technique feedback, create training programs for beginner through elite level participants. Responsible for being at all practices and meets.
Swim Club: (6-15 years) A pre-competitive club that focuses on the development of the swimmer and the basic terminology, legal stroke, and the understanding of a workout. This is the first stage in learning about swimming individually and
as a group. This is best described as a starter program to find out if the swimmer
likes the sport.
Swim Team: USA Swimming competitive team looking for a swim coach to assist with the development and coaching of the age group team (12 and under). USA Swimming non-athlete coach registration and ASCA Level 1 Certification preferred.

Qualifications: |
-Coaching and/or Swim Team experience preferred
-ARC Coaches Safety Training certification or YMCA Lifeguard
-Registered with USA Swimming
-Current CPR PRO, Oxygen Administration, AED & First Aid
-Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory background investigation.
