Restaurant General Manager-Shula's Steak House

Shula's Steak House is looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our winning team. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coaching, delegating, empowering, and developing the Team.
• Hiring of employees and conducting performance reviews.
• Training the staff to perform and meet service standards, including ongoing training of new-hires, weekly training topics, and cross training of staff.
• Scheduling of staff.
• Managing payroll for all areas that report to this position.
• Floor management.
• Financial responsibilities to include, revenue management through business development, P & L review, cost of sales, and control of expenses.  Will be highly involved in budgeting process.
• Ensuring safety/sanitation, and service standards are maintained.

• Must be articulate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through.
• Able to multi task and work with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and operate efficiently under stressful situations.
• Create employee schedules.
• AA/BA degree preferred.
• Ability to use computers.
• Strong knowledge of wines, beverage and steak menu is preferred. 
• Experience in private dining is desired.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a management position in an upscale or high volume restaurant. 

Position is full time, afternoon schedule including weekends.
