The Department Secretary for the Corporate Compliance Department is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and set-up of meetings; preparing agendas/meeting minutes; Managing mailings, duplication and dissemination of information; preparing and processing internal and external correspondence; and organizing, maintaining and updating departmental files.

Duties:

• Monitor/order office supplies.
• Assist with maintaining accurate weekly time entry data.
• Set up and organize files.
• Type and track policy and procedures.
• Assist with presentation handouts and power point/overheads, etc.
• Perform special assignments, research and report preparation
• Well versed in Microsoft Word and Excel; preparing formal letters, setting up tables and entering data into spreadsheets.
• Coordinate seminars/conferences and reservations.
• Maintain department data base information
• Update, monitor and track license renewal process
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Well developed organizational and computer skills; attention to detail.
• High school diploma required
• College education preferred, but not required if warranted by previous related work experience of 3 to 6 years.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to handle physical workload involved and stress of working in hospice care.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks under minimal direction.
• Self-starter who completes assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
