• Provides hospice care to patients throughout Hillsborough County, FL (Tampa Bay Area)
• Annually, HPC served 12,361 hospice patients and admitted 8,976 new hospice patients.
• Our team of medical professionals serve over 2,000 people daily.
Good Shepherd Hospice Facts:
• Over 574 physicians referring patients to Good Shepherd
• Provides hospice care to patients throughout Polk, Highlands and Hardee Counties. (Central Florida areas)
• Annually, Good Shepherd physicians and nurse practitioners perform more than 3,338 home visits
• Good Shepherd Hospice provides over $2.1 million in charity care each year
• Our team of medical professionals serve approximately 650 people daily.

Currently, we are seeking a Staff Physicians.
The selected physician will provide direct palliative care services (primary and consultative) for our hospice patients and their families, in addition to managing administrative and regulatory responsibilities.

Qualifications: |
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida
• Board eligible or certified in a recognized field of the American Board of Medical Specialists
• Ability to make home/residential visits.
• Knowledge and experience in palliative medical practice/symptom management or end-of-life care preferred.
