IT Admin Assistant

Salary Range:$16.00-$20.00/hour

Description:

Provide the IT department and management team with administrative support including purchasing, inventory management, documentation, expense tracking, reporting, phone and e-mail communication, meeting coordination and other duties.

Duties:

• Provide support services to the IT department and management team.
• Purchase and receive IT equipment, software and supplies.
• Create and maintain IT purchasing records including quote requests, purchase orders, returns, and credits.
• Assist in tracking and maintaining IT inventory.
• Assist in maintaining documentation regarding software and hardware licensing and contracts.
• Track and report on capital project progress and IT-related expenses.
• Compile reports, schedule meetings, and prepare agendas.
• Accurately respond to IT-related e-mails and telephone calls from vendors.
• Assemble and analyze fairly complex IT information or data.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years college, degree preferred.
• 3-5 years administrative assistant experience, preferably in an IT department.
• Experience in an ERP supported manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with IT terminology (software, hardware, equipment/supplies, networks, etc.) and purchasing.
• Help Desk or Systems Support experience a plus.
• High proficiency in all MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to use independent judgment, maintain a high level of confidentiality and operate under minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
