Duties: |
| The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating education for all user groups of the electronic clinical documentation system. This individual serves as a resource for initial orientation, ongoing education and support for clinical and non-clinical staff. This individual works to integrate clinical informatics and education to maximize staff efficiency and ensure clinical documentation competency for all patient care staff. |
Qualifications: |
RN State of Florida license required
2 years of clinical informatics or education experience (preferred)
Previous clinical background within a hospice setting required
Advanced electronic media experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to multiple levels
Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment
Effectively manage multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment in crisis situations
Valid drivers license and automobile insurance
Ability to travel to off-site locations
