| Universal Health Care Group, a privately held managed care company, is in immediate need of a full time Community Outreach Associate to provide a wide variety of marketing support for Universal Health Care products and services. The Community Outreach Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining marketing partnerships and targeting organizations based on the population Universal serves; organizing, developing and assisting in preparation of marketing and educational events and activities for Medicare, Vitalife, Medicaid and Diversion; and providing direct member outreach and support for the Vitalife program by addressing Member concerns, participating in Company Events, dissemination of promotional/marketing items, and executing on Member reward programs. The Community Outreach Associate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent and have 1-2 years of experience in Community Outreach or similar interactions with community based marketing. The candidate must have the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally, must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools, and must have strong active listen skills in order to understand others and their perspective and ensure continuous understanding regardless of communication channel or audience. Qualifications: |
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in Community Outreach or similar interactions with community based marketing, required
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent, preferred
- 1+ years Medicare/Medicaid Experience, required
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required
- Required to have and use personal transportation for company use
- Valid Health Insurance License, preferred
- Bilingual, preferred
- Ability to lift boxes up to 30 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekend hours
- May spend up to 75% of time traveling with exposure to inclement weather and normal traffic hazards
