Description:

General Objective:
Profiling/Detailing/Selling – product marketing – Outbound calls primarily placed to physician offices nationwide. We represent pharmaceutical manufacturers by contacting targeted physicians to provide clinical information regarding pharmaceutical drug indications, specific formulary coverage information, recommended dosage guidelines, sample fulfillment, and any other information requested. Functions as inside physician sales representative educating targeted physicians via tele-detailing methods. Apply now for new training classes starting Fall 2011!

Duties:

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Function independently with a high degree of sales proficiency.
• Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals in telephonic dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
• Influence sales performance within assigned territory.
• Achieve and exceed assigned goals.
• Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
• Regularly use a variety of analytical tools to understand and evaluate the business in order to best determine how to accomplish sales objectives.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed care information relative to assigned sales territory.
• Use a wide variety of promotional resources, analytical tools, and resource personnel to maximize effectiveness in assigned sales territory, based on local assessment of customer needs.
• Work with other personnel around common objectives to coordinate selling efforts.
• Work within a framework of client’s and TMS Health’s leadership guidelines.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor overseeing daily activities

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Well-developed problem analysis and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated effective organizational and communication skills
• Be results oriented with demonstrated time management skills
• Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and computer skills are essential
