| The Enterprise Project Manager will work to ensure that projects proceed on the basis of their strategic alignment to the objectives. This leader will be organizationally based versus departmentally based implementing an IT project management organizational strategy. The Enterprise IT PM will oversee the management of all strategically aligned IT projects. The leader will require all project teams to adopt best practices, processes, tools and templates to align corporate strategy and direction. This role will have departmentally-based project managers reporting directly to them. This provides them with an opportunity to align all corporate-based and departmentally based projects against the strategic plan and to manage project prioritization and resourcing issues. This role will positively impact the organization as a whole as well as each individual department and their customers. |
Duties: |
• Manage the delivery of the Enterprise Planning project; develop project plans, schedules and budgets; manage project risks and issues; facilitate regular project status meetings; document and communicate key project decisions
• Ensure that appropriate resources are assigned to each project and that projects can be completed on time
• Flag and report bottlenecks and changing project priorities in order to maximize project flow and overall efficiency
• Effectively apply SDLC methodology and enforce project standards
• Provide a significant level of competence to any technology project they undertake
• Understand, communicate and utilize Clients Software Development Lifecycle
Provide Enterprise Project Management for projects including development and execution of an Enterprise Project Plan as well as usage of Client standard PM tools and reporting mechanisms
• Coordinate and lead project team meetings
• Interface with business owners to understand their needs and secure appropriate project buy-in/sign-off throughout Life Cycle
• Identify cross functional project resources and manage their deliverables
• Facilitate resource assignment and matrix reporting structure
• Seek and review input from cross functional team and make final decisions regarding project scope
• Communicate all project-related information (weekly status reports, participation in executive meetings, etc) to cross functional team
• Identify, track and resolve project issues
• Provide input about implementation details as needed to make strategic decisions
• Track progress of testing and participate as necessary in business acceptance testing
• Drive clear definition of roles and responsibilities for each team member
• Drive training of business units on new product functionality
• Drive decision making to keep project on track and ultimately successful
• Generate new ideas and/or new ways to implement the ideas
• Facilitate final go/no-go decision for product launches

Qualifications: |
• 7+ years experience managing large, complex projects utilizing a cross-functional team to accomplish stated objectives
• Prior experience as a Project Manager over an Enterprise Planning solution
• Deep experience with large and complex custom development projects and packaged implementations
• Experience leading teams through fit/gap exercises, process mapping, business process re-engineering, requirements gathering and change management principles
• The candidate will be responsible for shepherding projects through the Clients Software Development Lifecycle that relate to Cash Management processing. They will provide enterprise project management of related projects and activities. Additionally, the candidate must ensure that established standards (on-time launch, overall usability, performance, etc.) are met or exceeded in all efforts
• Hands-on business expertise in addition to their strong Information Technology backgrounds
• Have a unique ability to leverage their technical backgrounds with their strong business management experiences, providing clear communications between a number of different disciplines
• Have a proven track record of successfully delivering large ERP or corporate initiatives/projects that require a cross functional approach involving a number of different internal departments, organizations and a variety of players on the project team, many with different expectations for the project
• Must be extremely organized, be able to bring a cohesive team of departmental project managers together, clarify the goal of the corporation and keep all of the team members focused on the business objectives, their independent roles and contributions to the project to insure that everything is completed on time with the desire results
• Proven experience managing business driven projects
• Focused on solving problems and delivering results
• Maintain full awareness of project statuses, assigned resources, issues and budget implications
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices
• Exposure to multiple project management methodologies and tools
• Ability to relate well at all levels of an organization, building the appropriate rapport, as well as constructive and effective relationships
• A demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Skilled at delivering executive level presentations
• Ability to adapt to new processes, tools and environments
• Ability to drive a project / team to successful results
• Proven Business Analysis skills are desired as well
Educational Requirements:
• PMP Certification is a plus
• MIS/CS/IT Bachelors required
