Description: |
| Full time experienced Hospital Medical Billing or Physician Billing Specialist/Insurance Verifier with A/R experience needed for a high energy, performance focused medical billing/collection agency.
Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a strong desire to achieve individual and team goals.

Duties: |
| Successful candidate will be resolving and collecting unpaid medical claims with commercial, private and government insurance carriers.
Various hospital/physician claim verification including coding, billing, and claim submission.
Research claim payments and assist with processing appeals and payments with insurance companies.

Qualifications: |
| Computer, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and other office software applications, verbal/written communication and math skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency with ICD-9, HCPCS, and CPT coding preferred.
At least 1 year of insurance verification and/or medical collection background is preferred. Patient Account Technician certification is a plus.
