Description: |
| To provide comprehensive psychiatric care to the clients receiving services in the outpatient programs. |
Duties: |
1.0 Provides psychiatric services for assigned patients.
1.1 Provides psychiatric care in accordance with community standards and the Agency's protocol for the provision of these services.
2.0 Serves on the outpatient office treatment team and provides psychiatric consultation for members of other disciplines.
2.1 Participates in treatment team meetings, reviews treatment plans and provides consultation for other staff members.
3.0 Ensures that clinical documentation required of the assigned psychiatrist is complete and accomplished in a timely manner.
3.1 All clinical documentation required of the assigned psychiatrist is completed in accordance with the Agency’s protocols for such documentation and with its standards for timeliness for their completion.
4.0 Provides after working hours on-call services as assigned.
4.1 Provides all on-call services in accordance with the Agency’s protocols and standards for such services.
5.0 Serves on Agency committees and work groups as assigned.
5.1 Exhibits interest and willingness to participate in special committees and work groups.
6.0 Performs other duties as requested.
6.1 Miscellaneous duties are performed according to instruction.

| Licensed as a physician in the State of Florida, Board Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology |
